We are immediately seeking a full stack developer to assist with mobile and web development for both in-house and client projects. Position is a full time position, and includes 2 weeks of paid vacation, 1 week of paid sick leave, and 1 week of paid company holidays. Position is currently remote, though in the future may convert into a position located near the Springboro, Ohio area.

Overall Qualifications include:

  • Applicant MUST be authorized to work in the United States, no sponsorship is offered
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field is preferred but not required
  • 5-7 years’ experience in frontend & backend website development
  • A passion for constant improvement to software processes, technologies and techniques

Required Experience:

  • Proficiency and working knowledge in C# and .NET Core backend technologies
  • Web API REST authoring and consumption
  • Good understanding of service-oriented Architecture
  • Familiarity with .NET Core, Web API, ASP.NET MVC
  • Solid experience in developing
  • Distributed Version Control (GIT)
  • SQL Server database experience (schema & query design)
  • Experience working with Firebase/Firestore databases and functions
  • Experience working in an agile/Scrum environment
  • Proficiency and working knowledge in Typescript and JavaScript
  • Proficiency and working knowledge in HTML and CSS

MuseumQuest is our product that uses gamification theory and educational techniques to engage museum visitors with exhibits and encourage learning through a variety of quests. The original gamification experts throughout history have always been teachers. All of our LifeQuest's creative content specialists are trained educators with a passion for creating fun and engaging games that encourages learning for all age groups. If you are a teacher that loves to create enriched learning experiences but want to try something outside of the classroom, then this might be the job for you! This position will require travel to a variety of museums to gather information about exhibits. Then using knowledge of different learning styles, gamification player types, blooms taxonomy and critical thinking skills, create a variety of storylines, trivia, and game experiences for all age groups. Training in education, as well as some classroom experience is required. Creative, out of the box thinkers a plus. Required Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Interactive Design, Graphic/Web Design or related field
  • Expert level experience with CSS, HTML, JavaScript, and Responsive Web Design principles
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (specifically, Photoshop, Xd, Illustrator, and InDesign)
  • Working experience in implementing mobile user interfaces with the Ionic Framework 4+
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent task/time management skills
  • Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Ability to effectively present in front of small-medium groups
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in programming/front-end development

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience developing with Angular 2+
  • Prociency in JavaScript & TypeScript languages
